TYING A TIE
Here are nine of the most classic tie knots, for every occasion.
Before tying your tie, do up the top button of your shirt and lift up the collar. Once you have tied the tie, pull it up to hide both the top of the shirt and the top button. Stylish men create a hollow in their tie; just before tightening the knot, put your finger just under the knot and make a small fold just below the knot and then tighten the knot. If you do this well, the hollow will be centred. Fold down the collar, centre the knot and you're ready!
The ATLANTIC: Simple and original.

The HALF WINDSOR, a tie knot for every day, giving a slightly smaller knot than the WINDSOR.
The WINDSOR is very wide and triangular. It is the knot for special occasions and suits Italian collared or spread collared shirts. Choose a long tie and a waistcoat as this knot uses a lot of tie and often won't reach the belt!

The DOUBLE KNOT: For everyday, very easy with an elegant result.

The ITALIAN, original, as the knot is "broken" in two halves – very "Italian".

The ONASSIS, a beautiful knot that is easy to do. It needs a clip under the knot to give it the right effect. Its advantage is that is kinder on the tie.
The SMALL KNOT: An everyday basic knot. Highly simple and ideal for buttoned collars and very wide ties.

The PRATT.
The SIMPLE KNOT. Its name says it all.
